Hi! I'm Danielle, owner of Tree Swing Photography.

I’m a Bay Area photographer specializing in family, children, maternity, newborn, and baby photography. I offer outdoor, natural light sessions on location, at-home Lifestyle newborn sessions, and indoor Studio sessions (newborn, sitter, first birthday, headshots, etc) at my studio in Burlingame.

A little bit about me:

I am a Bay Area native ~ something that's hard to find 'round these parts! I was born and raised here and after spending some time away in paradise (also known as Santa Barbara) for college and grad school, I knew I had to come back HOME to the Peninsula.

 I'm a mom of 3 crazy kids so I've been primed! Watch out for funny fart noises, pretend play, and silly songs at your family sessions. My favorite photos are the ones that don't only look good, but the ones that FEEL good. I love capturing the connection between people, the twinkle in their eye, the energy of the moment, and the excitement and love.

My passion for photography began during my own childhood. My biggest photography influence was my Dad. He really made it a priority to capture all our childhood moments on film (something I am so grateful to be able to share with my own kids today) and had an amazing eye for composition and talent for creating striking images.

I've always enjoyed working with children and babies. When I was a little girl, my dream job was to work in the hospital nursery so I could hold babies all day (back when babies went to to the nursery). No wonder newborns are one of my favorite sessions! Once I had my own children, I realized how truly important it is to capture these precious, fleeting moments in life and my passion for photography really took off. 

A little bit about my work: My photography style is natural and warm and my ultimate goal is to capture moments full of emotion and personality...photos that move you! I love to laugh and aim for my sessions to be easy going and fun. If you and your children are having fun and enjoying each other's company, it shows in the photos. My greatest joy is capturing images that my clients will display in their homes and cherish for years, and generations,      to come.
